Capitol North American's 150,000 square foot storage and distribution facility is fully insulated and is equipped with exhaust fans to control temperature in the extreme climate of Nevada. Twelve dock doors will accommodate, with load levelers, trucks varying in height from the lowest flat bed to standard freight height trailers. We have a supervised sprinkler system that is on direct line to the fire department, as well as to a supervised alarm center. We have burglar alarm systems in place covering all warehouse and office areas.
All overstuffed furniture is stored is specialized racks, and is covered in plastic to protect the fabric from dust and soiling during storage.
Our facility is separated into different areas specially configured for household good storage, high value product storage, product distribution, and cross dock operations.
Every item that is brought to our warehouse is tracked with a bar code and is controlled by a computerized asset management system to prevent items being lost or misplaced.

Distribution

In addition to our household good storage operation, a portion of our building is set aside for cross dock and distribution activities.
Capitol North American is recognized as a clear leader in this industry. We are currently performing distribution services for a number of the largest companies in Southern Nevada. These services include receiving, cataloging, storage, merging, pulling, loading, transportation, delivery and installation of product that varies in type from modular furniture to communications modules, from artwork to mattresses, from lamps to refrigerators, from examination tables to computer terminals.

An additional service we provide our customers is a state-of-the-art computerized asset management system which allows us to customize individual piece tracking and reporting to meet the specific needs of our different clients. This system is designed to take the guesswork out of what has been received by Capitol North American on behalf of a customer, where it is physically located in our facility, and where it is destined to go once it is ordered out for delivery.
